The Borough of Madison is a small, suburban community with a population of approximately 16,000. Located about 15 miles due west of New York City, it is easily accessible via Routes 287, 24, and 78. In addition, New Jersey Transit’s Midtown Direct provides a quick, relaxing ride into New York Penn Station and eliminates the need to transfer at Hoboken. The area is also serviced by Lakeland Bus Lines and for local routes, by Morris County Metro Bus.
